Melasma is hyperchromia caused by increased deposition of melanin, giving irregularly shaped spots and a darker color to the skin. Melasma most commonly affects the face area, although it can appear on the chest, neck, hands and arms.
It is a chronic and relapsing condition that appears more frequently in women of reproductive age and is rare in men and before puberty. Its causes are diverse, and may be hormonal in origin (such as during pregnancy) or due to exposure to the sun.
Biodiversité has a range of highly effective active ingredients in the prevention and treatment of melasma.
Bioblanc: IN & OUT depigmentant, plant based, organic, clean beauty and vegan allowed for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Composed of the most effective olive polyphenols: oleuropein, hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol and verbascoside.
Through oral use, Bioblanc acts to modulate the expression of genes involved in skin pigmentation and inflammatory pathways. Chronic use of Bioblanc prolongs the chronological life of skin fibroblasts and inactivates genes related to skin hyperpigmentation. Its topical use works to lighten blemishes and even out the skin,
in addition to stimulating the synthesis of new fibroblasts. Bioblanc IN and OUT inhibits tyrosinase, MSH and TRP-1, bringing a complete effect to the treatment of melasma.
Full White: Full White is a stable vegan lipophilic fullerene complex associated with an olive green squalane complex.
Bioidentical amphiphilic shield for cells that protects mitochondrial DNA and has an ultra-lightening action on the skin.Full White has a powerful reducing action, increases endogenous antioxidant enzymes (glutathione peroxidase, catalase, superoxide dismutase - SOD) and has an effective action on melasma.
Full White reduces the production of pigments at the cellular level, inhibits tyrosinase and prevents lipid lipoperoxidation, acting assertively to combat blemishes.
